re: Applying to AG

Thank you for visiting the Azure Guard, one of the oldest guilds on the P99 server. We are a casual raiding guild that pride ourselves on honesty, courtesy and civility.

If you are interested in becoming a member of our family, below is a step-by-step guide detailing the application process, our code of conduct, and other general rules and policies of the guild:

Application Process

1) Be level 46+ (level 50 will be required to obtain full member status)

2) Submit an application to the AG website.

You can do this by clicking 'Apply to AG' in the sidebar or by clicking here. When registering for the site please choose a username that accurately correlates with your main character’s actual name.

3) Make an introductory thread in this forum.

Give a brief description of yourself. Members will be able to greet you here and introduce themselves to you. Note any guild events you have attended during the app process here.

4) Contact a recruitment officer in game.

Recruitment officers are your guides through the app process. They will be able to answer any early questions you may have, direct you to any upcoming guild events you may be able to attend, and invite you into the AG Discord channel. It is your responsibility to follow up on your own application and stay in contact with recruitment officers.

Check here for a list of active recruitment officers.

5) Attend AG raids & events.

To become a member of Azure Guard you must participate in guild activities. Upon attending your first guild event your trial membership will begin and you will start to accrue DKP. A guild event is defined as an official raid, guild activity, or grouping with an officer present for a significant length of time. During your trial membership it is vital to interact with the guild. Let us know who you are. Have fun and build positive relationships.

After you have attended 3 guild events (on 3 separate dates) your application will move forward to the voting process.

Your 3 guild events must be completed within 30 days of your application submission or your application will be closed.

6) Voting Process

Azure Guard uses a 10 point+ voting system. In order to obtain full membership you must attain at least 10 “YES” votes from full members in a private vote. All “NO” votes will subtract from your total (Example: 10 “YES” votes & 2 “NO” votes = 8 “YES” votes). If at any time you receive 5 “NO” votes your application will be denied. It is possible for a member to change their vote if their opinion about you shifts, for better or for worse.

During this period, it is imperative that you continue interacting with the guild and stay in communication with recruitment officers to inquire on the status of your application. If an applicant has no activity or communication with the guild for one month after beginning the voting process their application will be closed and the applicant will be removed from the guild.

7) Full membership

Once you have reached 10 votes and you meet the requisite raid requirements (found here) your application will be accepted and you will become a full member of the guild. From this point you will be able to bid on loot, as well as receiving full access to the guild website and Discord.

Loot, Alternate Character, and Raid Attendance Policy:

Azure Guard uses a DKP and silent bidding system for awarding loot. A full member may bid on any item for any character they wish (within certain bidding cap limitations) as long as that character is registered and raid-eligible. Further information on our DKP system may be found here.

Azure Guard does not have a mandatory raid attendance policy. There are no requirements or expectations for full members to raid nor will you ever be penalized for your attendance. You dictate your own playtime and level of investment.

Code of Conduct:

A member of Azure Guard thrives to encourage fun, civility and fair-play within the P99 community. They will always conduct themselves in a friendly, honest and ethical manner.

A member of Azure Guard will not willingly engage in any malicious, deceptive, or discourteous behavior. They will not engage in any activity which will reflect poorly on themselves or the guild. Actions such as kill stealing, training, thievery, fraud, or harassment will not be tolerated.

A Member of Azure Guard will not quarrel, bicker, insult, heckle or disparage another player/guild in a public channel, both in and out of game.

Failure to comply with this policy will result in disciplinary action or guild removal.

Miscellaneous Rules:

1) A member of Azure Guard may not have a character in another raid guild on this server. Failure to comply will result in immediate guild removal.

2) All characters must have a WC cap and an OT hammer. Applicants must acquire these items before attaining full membership.

3) All characters must be properly registered on the site in order to be tagged as an alt and must be 46+ to bid on loot.

4) While there are no raid attendance requirements, all members must keep some form of regular contact with the guild or risk possibly losing access privileges or even guild removal.

5) Refrain from using excessive profanity or vulgarity. Bigotry of any kind will not be tolerated.

Thank you for considering Azure Guard! We look forward to adventuring with you in the future~!
